Guided meditation for happiness
Take a few moments to settle into your comfortable position and focus on the breath. Feel your body begin to relax as you let go of physical and mental tension. Notice the air entering and leaving your lungs, feeling it nourish each cell in your body.
Now, become aware of a quiet inner space inside yourself. Just beyond the mind’s chatter lies a peaceful stillness – a place of joy that lives within us all. Letting go of any expectations or goals, simply rest in this moment, recognizing the gift of being alive.
Start to pay attention to the small moments throughout your day that bring you happiness. From enjoying a cup of morning coffee, taking time for a favorite hobby, or cuddling with our pet – focus on these little things that make life enjoyable and meaningful.
Now imagine setting an intention for happiness in every situation. Feel yourself radiating positive energy out into the world while cultivating self-love and kindness towards others. Start with connecting to yourself first; respect your personal needs, speak kindly to yourself, and listen deeply in order to better understand what brings you joy.
As you continue to meditate on this intention of happiness, see if you can find it within difficult circumstances as well – finding balance between lightness and darkness without judgement or denial of opposing sides inside ourselves. As we practice bringing more kindness into our thoughts and words, we might also start noticing how this can spread outwards too – connecting us more deeply with those around us as well as our environment too!
When you are ready begin to come back from this meditation opening your eyes slowly when you are ready… take some time here just breathing before continuing with your day feeling renewed and full of happiness!
