Inner smile meditation
This 10-minute inner smile meditation will help you to heighten your awareness and strengthen your positivity. Through our inner smiles, we can cultivate a greater connection between our mind, body, and soul.
Meditation to release your Inner Smile
Begin by finding a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down. Close your eyes and take three deep breaths in, filling your lungs with oxygen while releasing out any tension or stress. As you inhale through your nose, visualize the air filling your lungs first before expanding into the rest of your body. When exhaling through your nose, imagine the air carrying away all of the negative energy and replacing it with positive high-vibration energy.
Now shift your focus to the center of your chest, where you feel your heart beating. Picture two small tiny hands in this area holding an imaginary crystal ball filled with light and love. Focus on this image for a few moments until it feels real to you. You may even sense the warmth radiating from these hands as if they were connected to a source of powerful energies such as those found in nature or within yourself.
Now imagine an internal journey within yourself; begin at the top of your head and slowly make your way downwards towards each part of your body with a warm inner smile on each area as if you were glowing with love from within. Feel free to linger on certain areas longer than others if needed; give yourself time to really connect deeply within each part of yourself so that it can become more alive and be embraced by love.
Your internal journey should end when you reach the bottom of your feet which should now feel energized, grounded and balanced due to this mindful practice focusing on self-love and compassion for yourself as well as others around you. Continue smiling internally throughout the next few minutes until you are fully immersed in this feeling of pure joy from within; take some time to really savor this moment now which is special just for you.
When ready, gently open up your eyes while still keeping hold of this internal blissful state created during this meditation so that it can be taken everywhere around with you today and every day afterward!
