Meditation Naked
Introduction (3 minutes):
Welcome to today’s meditation naked session! We will focus on being mindful of our thoughts and feelings, and creating a sense of inner peace without our clothes on. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Notice the way your body feels in its stillness.
Let’s Begin
Begin to focus your attention on your breath and how it moves in and out of your body. Feel the air gently entering and exiting through your nose or mouth with each inhale and exhale.
Body (15 minutes):
As you focus on your breath, create a point of awareness between each inhalation and exhalation. In this space, notice any physical sensations or thoughts that arise from within. Allow yourself to become aware of these internal experiences without judgment or attachment—simply observe them as they come up inside you. Now bring your attention back to the feeling of air moving through your body as you breathe in and out.
Continue this pattern for the next few minutes, alternating between mental focus on the breath, and an open awareness of any thoughts or bodily sensations that arise into consciousness during the pauses between breaths. As you do this, allow yourself to become more deeply connected with all aspects of experience—the stillness as well as any movement that exists within it—the pleasant sensations as well as any uncomfortable ones—the conscious ideas and sensations, along with those beneath the surface in the subconscious realm.
Now expand this practice, allowing yourself to become aware of both inner and outer phenomena: Become aware not only of what is happening inside but also outside yourself—feelings about a recent conversation or interaction with someone else, changes in temperature or ambient noise around you; even feelings about events taking place across the world or beyond our planet itself can be brought into this state of focused awareness if desired..
Allow yourself now to move further into an attitude of more profound acceptance for all things—not just for experiences we think are pleasant but also those that aren’t so pleasant; welcome them equally with an open-heartedness toward understanding their place within our life story. Feel how this allows us to let go into greater levels of stillness within ourselves slowly; consciously opening up space for unconditional love towards oneself, others, and ultimately life itself before finally returning to the simple act of breathing…in….and out…..
Conclusion (2 minutes):
Now take one last deep breath before beginning to come back towards full consciousness once more slowly; bringing our attention away from inward focus back outward where we can feel grateful for having been able to experience such a peaceful moment together With this feeling let us return hopefully refreshed by our brief journey into relaxation with another kind reminder that no matter how challenging life may seem at times we always have access through mindfulness practices like these to bring us closer towards inner equilibrium again whenever we need it most.
Thanks for listening into our Meditation Naked edition, I hope you feel more at peace.
