Find yourself standing in front of an awe-inspiring sunset. This sunset is one that you will never forget; it’s warm, radiant colors glisten across the sky as if they were made of liquid gold. Notice how the different hues blend together to create this amazing work of art, a painting carefully crafted by nature’s hand. Feel the warmth radiating from this magnificent sight and allow that warmth to fill your body from head to toe.
Take notice of all five senses as you take in this calming atmosphere; feel the calm breeze brushing against your skin, smell the sweet scent of nature carried on its wings, listen to the melodic songbirds singing in harmony with one another, see the vibrant colors splashed across cloudless horizon, taste the clean earthiness of freshly cut grass.
Allow yourself to relax even further into this meditation and focus your awareness on your breath; noticing each inhale and exhale as it moves its way through your body. Allow whatever thoughts arise to enter into consciousness without judgement or attachment then simply let them go as quickly as they came in again focusing on each inhale and exhale – watching each thought pass like clouds moving across a vast sky until eventually fading away into nothingness leaving only stillness behind.
