Hand signs for chakra meditation: 20 Minutes
Hi, and welcome to the hand signs for chakra meditation, where we will go through the hand gestures that increase our meditative spirit.
To begin a twenty-minute chakra meditation, start by finding a comfortable sitting spot, such as a chair or on the floor. Ensure that your spine is straight and you are alert yet relaxed. Close your eyes, regulating your breath and allowing your body to become still.
Allow your attention to move down through each of the seven major chakras beginning at the crown of your head. Visualize a bright white light entering the top of your head and slowly traveling downwards, illuminating each energy center and opening them up as it moves.
Starting with the Crown Chakra located at the top of the head, imagine a glowing violet ball of energy spinning inside this area. Visualize soft purple petals around this ball which indicate its openness and balance. Feel any tension melting away from here as you express gratitude for this connection to the divine.
Moving down to the Third Eye Chakra between eyebrows, see a deep indigo color emanating from here and fill this space with clarity and insight. Feel any confusion lifting away from here as you acknowledge yourself for all that you have achieved so far on your life path.
The Throat Chakra is found in our neck area and is represented by a blue hue radiating outwards from here. Connect with yourself and feel any old patterns or blockages dissipating as you communicate openly with yourself and others without fear or hesitation.
The Heart Chakra is located in our chest, representing unconditional love, forgiveness, and compassion towards ourselves and others. See a beautiful green light coming from within us expanding outwards towards whoever needs it most at this moment, whether it be another person, animal, or even yourself!
The Solar Plexus chakra is represented by a bright yellow light located just above our navels; indicating personal empowerment, strength, and self-confidence within us all. Take in some fresh air here and breathe profoundly feeling any fear transform into courage with each exhale you make!
The Sacral chakra sits near our groin where an orange glow indicates creativity, pleasure & joy! This energy center invites us to step boldly into life’s experiences free of judgment with total acceptance & understanding for everything we come across on our way!
Lastly is our Root Chakra at the base of our spine which represents grounding & stability with its deep red hue shining brightly like a beacon of hope & support! Here we connect back to Mother Earth reminding us that we are part of something much greater than ourselves – infinite possibilities await if we stay connected & trusting in this truth!
After exploring each chakra individually take some moments to observe how they interact together like cogs on a wheel creating an interference pattern resulting in inner harmony overall; sending out ripples throughout all aspects of your being!
To close off this meditation, simply relax and feel more energized than before & open your eyes whenever ready for whatever comes next on your journey through life!

What are the 7 chakra signs?
If you’re curious about the 7 chakra signs, you’re in the right place! The 7 chakras are energy centres within our bodies that vibrate and help us to maintain our vital energy – but how do we know how healthy they are? Well, each of these chakras is associated with a particular sign. For example, the root chakra is symbolised by the colour red and represents stability and security. Then there’s the sacral chakra with its orange hue which represents creativity and passion. Next up, the yellow solar plexus chakra which stands for strength and power. Now on to something more mysterious… the heart chakra (green) unlocks compassion and unconditional love, while the blue throat chakra helps us express ourselves authentically. Then there’s the third eye (indigo) for intuition, insight and wisdom. Last but not least is the crown chakra (violet), representing spirituality and consciousness as well as our connection to higher planes of existence. Check in with your body to see if any of your seven energy centres needs more attention – it’ll be like a realigning breath of fresh air!
What are the 7 mudras?
Mudras are really fascinating! Basically, they’re hand gestures used in classical Indian dance but can also be used to symbolize divine energy and direct internal energy. There are 7 of them: Abhaya mudra, Dhyana mudra, Prana mudra, Varada mudra, Shikhara mudra, Gyan Mudra and Anjali Mudra. The Abhaya represents peacefulness and protection, the Dhyana is for meditation and contemplation, the Prana is for life force energy and healing, the Varada signifies charity and kindness, the Shikhara stands for power and strength. The Gyan Mudra is one of knowledge seeking, while the Anjali Mudra represents respect. All of these together could help open yourself up to heightened spiritual awareness – cool huh?
